We also offer private and semi-private sessions for those looking for more personalized instruction tailored to their specific goals or needs.

  • Do I need Pilates experience to join?

    dropdown

No experience necessary! We recommend starting with our Reformer 1 or Intro classes— they’re beginner-friendly and the perfect way to start your Pilates journey. Our instructors will guide you every step of the way.

  • What equipment will I use in class?

    dropdown

Every class at Pilates Six is built around the Reformer—it’s the foundation of our workouts and used in every session. Each station is fully equipped with a Reformer, EXO Chair, Springboard, TRX straps, weights, Magic Circle, and more. While you won’t use every piece of equipment in every class, our instructors rotate them regularly to keep your body challenged and your workouts fresh. Each piece offers a unique movement experience, targeting your muscles in new ways so your body never gets stagnant and your progress never plateaus.

  • What do I need to wear and bring to class?

    dropdown

Wear comfortable, supportive activewear that allows you to move with ease. We recommend more fitted clothing, as very loose items can shift during class—especially in movements where your legs are lifted or elevated. Grip socks are required for safety and are available for purchase in the studio. Please bring your own water; bottled water is available for purchase. All Pilates equipment is provided for you.

  • How do I get started?

    dropdown

Getting started at Pilates Six is easy—with flexible options!

Most new clients begin with our free Intro class, a welcoming and no-pressure way to explore the studio, learn the equipment, and meet our instructors. It’s the perfect first step into your Pilates journey.

You can book your Intro, purchase a single class, or start a membership through our website, the Pilates Six app, by phone, email, or visiting in person—whatever’s easiest for you!

After your Intro, we recommend continuing with Reformer 1 classes to build a strong foundation and progress with confidence. If you’re skipping the Intro, Reformer 1 is still the ideal place to start.

For your first visit, please arrive 10–15 minutes early and let your instructor know it’s your first time—we’re here to support you every step of the way.

  • Do you offer memberships or packages?

    dropdown

We offer auto-renew memberships with flexible class options, along with special discounts for students, military, and first responders. New to Pilates Six? Take advantage of our intro o ers and trial packages designed just for new members.

In addition to group classes, we also offer private and semi-private session packages—perfect for personalized attention and tailored workouts. All private and semi-private sessions have a 6-month expiration from the date of purchase.

  • How do I book a class?

    dropdown

Booking a class is easy! You can reserve your spot through our website or Pilates Six app. From there, you’ll be able to view the schedule, manage your membership, purchase classes, and book with just a few clicks. Simply create an account and you’re ready to go!

  • How often should I come to Pilates?

    dropdown

Consistency is key when it comes to seeing results with Pilates. We recommend attending 2–4 classes per week for noticeable improvements in strength, flexibility, posture, and overall body awareness.

That said, even just one class a week can make a positive impact—especially if you're new or balancing a busy schedule. The most important thing is to stay consistent and listen to your body.

Whether your goals are to increase core strength, reduce pain, enhance athletic performance, or simply move and feel better, we’re here to help you create a routine that works for your lifestyle. Our instructors are happy to guide you in building a schedule that supports your goals.

  • When should I arrive to class?

    dropdown

Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to check in, especially if it’s your first visit.

  • How does the waitlist work?

    dropdown

If a class is full, you can join the waitlist—you’ll be automatically added if a spot opens up. It’s a great way to still get into your favorite classes!

You’ll receive a confirmation email and text if you’re moved from the waitlist into class. The system stops auto-adding members 2 hours before class starts, so there won’t be any last- minute surprises.

If you are added to class and can’t attend, standard late cancel or no-show policies will apply based on your membership.

Still on the waitlist when class begins? No problem—you were never added, so you won’t lose a class credit or be charged.

After the 2-hour mark, the waitlist closes and stops auto-adding members. But if someone cancels after that, their spot will show up on the schedule for anyone to grab. Keep an eye on the app—you might still snag a spot last-minute!

  • Do you offer private training?

    dropdown

Yes! At Pilates Six, we offer one-on-one private training in a fully equipped, state-of-the-art private room featuring premium Balanced Body apparatus—including the Cadillac/RTC, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, and more.

Private training is for everyone—whether you're recovering from an injury, feeling a bit shy in group classes, looking to master the foundations, deepen your understanding of the Pilates method, or explore advanced movements. It’s also the perfect setting to ask questions, receive hands-on guidance, and learn how each exercise should feel in your body.

Every session is thoughtfully tailored to your individual needs, goals, and movement style— because Pilates isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither are you.

  • How do I schedule private training?

    dropdown

You can purchase private or semi-private sessions through our website, Pilates Six app, by phone, email, or directly at the studio—whichever is most convenient for you.

Once you’ve made your purchase, just send us an email to get started. We’ll connect you with one of our instructors, discuss your goals, and coordinate a schedule that works best for both you and your instructor. It’s a personalized experience designed to support your needs from the very first session.

  • Is Pilates for men too?

    dropdown

Absolutely—and if you think it’s easy, we dare you to try it.

Pilates was created by a man, Joseph Pilates, and it's been used for decades by elite athletes, military personnel, and professional sports teams to build real strength, power, and control. It’s not about fluff—it’s about focus, precision, and performance.

At Pilates Six, we train men who want to move better, lift stronger, play harder, and stay injury-free. From improving core stability and posture to increasing mobility and flexibility, Pilates will expose your weaknesses—and help you turn them into strengths.

So yes, your mom or wife might do Pilates... but don’t let that fool you. This method will humble you in the best way—and build a stronger, more capable version of yourself.

  • What if I’m recovering from an injury or have a special consideration?

    dropdown

Life happens—and whether you’re recovering from a recent injury, managing chronic conditions like arthritis or scoliosis, or dealing with tight hips or low back pain, Pilates is designed to meet you where you are. It’s low-impact, adaptable, and focused on helping you move better, feel stronger, and rebuild confidence in your body.

Private sessions are a great place to start if you’ve recently been cleared after surgery, are recovering from a more serious injury, or need help learning how to move safely before returning to group classes. One-on-one attention allows us to tailor movement to your needs and guide you with care.

If you don’t require individual support, Reformer 1 classes are a great option. These slower- paced classes focus on form and foundational movement, with plenty of opportunities for modifications along the way.

Whichever path you take, we encourage you to arrive 10–15 minutes early and share any physical concerns with your instructor. We’re here to support you with safe, smart movement —every step of the way.

  • Can I do Pilates if I’m pregnant?

    dropdown

Yes—Pilates is a safe, low-impact way to support your body during pregnancy and postpartum recovery. It helps build strength, improve posture, ease common aches, and prepares you for labor, childbirth, and the demands of motherhood.

Whether you're expecting or newly postpartum, please let your instructor know before class. We’ll provide thoughtful modifications to help you move safely and comfortably—always honoring where you are in your journey.

Reformer 1 classes are our most supportive, safe and effective option during and after pregnancy. These classes offer a slower pace with a focus on form, control, and foundational movements—making it easier to modify and stay connected to your body while still getting an effective, full-body workout.

As always, please be sure you’ve been cleared by your doctor before starting or continuing any exercise. We’re here to help you feel strong, supported, and empowered—every step of the way.

  • How is Pilates Six different from other studios?

    dropdown
